Fulham are ready to improve their bid for Almeria striker Kalu Uche, according to the Daily Mail.
The Whites have already had a £2m bid rejected for the Nigerian striker but are set to go back with an increased offer. Uche, who has spent four years with Almeria and has won 15 international caps for his country, is valued at £5m but only has a year left on his current contract.
My only question is where does this guy slot in? I can’t believe he would play ahead of Zamora. Would he be bench strength and get some time in Europa or is he a replacement for Kamara?
I suspect this is just paper talk to be honest. Difficult to know whether he’d been thrown straight into the time or gradually introduced from the bench.
