Golden Arrows star Kagisho Dikgacoi is set to join Fulham after successfully gaining a work permit at the second attempt.
The South African international has been on trial with Fulham during their pre-season tour of Australia and will now team up with Roy Hodgson’s squad at Motspur Park. A potential deal collapsed last summer when the 24 year-old’s work permit application was refused due to a lack of international caps.
But Fulham continued to watch the defensive midfielder last year and tailored a special fitness programme as part of their continued efforts to bring him to Craven Cottage. Dikgacoi starred for South Africa as they hosted last month’s Confederations Cup – and those performances appear to have removed the last obstacle to his dream Premier League move.
