Me, I’m not wild about it. After the classy, plain efforts of the past couple of years that were very easy on the eye this smacks of being innovative for the fun of it. I can’t remember a home shirt that was this black since we abruptly changed shirt sponsors in the Wilkins/Keegan era. It might look a little better had the LG lettering been black, but perhaps the colour of the sponsor’s logo was specified in the contract. Oh, and it’s still got that ghastly badge on it.
Your thoughts?
Personally I think it looks great. Its good on the eye and the black sleeves look great. It has a bit of fight to it, I can’t ait to see the boys in Europe wearing it! Hears to a great season ahead!!! I love being a Fulham Fan
I actually quite like it. It’s a bit different from any kit we’ve had before (though maybe a bit too close to that Derby kit they were relegated in!) but doesn’t stray too far from the classic template. I don’t know how much longer this sub-Nike outlet deal is expected to last but I’ve been pretty happy with the designs so far.
My biggest complaint is that considering we must be getting these shirts at a much cheaper price than the bespoke option the price benefit isn’t being passed on to the customer.
Not a fan either. Wish it would have remained straight white. As for the badge, I don’t mind it. Although to be fair, I’ve only supported Fulham since 2000, so I don’t have any ties with the old crest.
What is the strange ‘sub-Nike’ deal? I’ve seen some Spurs fans moaning about it not being real Nike. What’s it all about? Does it matter?
Also there has already been a better badges designed – by me!

I think it’s a winner.
Whats wrong with the badge??
Jason: Well, we had the old badge in 2000 – perhaps it’s just faded from your memory!
Lydia: I just don’t like the new badge. It doesn’t have the sense of history and tradition that the old crest did. Of course, the club foisting it on us unexpectedly and without any consultation didn’t help much either.
Andy: That’s a good effort. The sub-Nike deal as far as I can ascertain is that the club gets to select from a selection of template kits already produced rather than having Nike make a ‘new one’ individually. The worst part of the deal is that the club has signed away control over what is placed in their shops.
oh right i understand
Dan: my dad has one of the old kits with the old badge on it and i see what you mean about the history. Maybe we should get another one and put dates or something on it?
