The rumour mill seems to have gone into overdrive of late. Roy has told the Chronicle that he hopes to have a couple of new faces in shortly and a couple of sources have suggested that the deals could be completed by early next week.
I don’t have any names to complete the picture I’m afraid, although Roy seems to have shut the door on Scharner in Paul Warburton’s piece. Perhaps it was due to the £6m asking price. Might Kevin Doyle be on his way?
