Today’s papers suggested that Fulham are ready to bid £8m for Newcastle striker Obafemi Martins.
This respected Newcastle blog reckons that Magpies won’t be able to turn down such an offer – and that the decision on the move would rest with the player. Martins, who has rather struggled to recreate the promise he showed in the early stages of his career on Tyneside is expected to leave St. James’ Park this summer and has been linked with a move to Italy recently.
