Unsurprisingly, Mark Schwarzer features prominently on the Daily Mail’s list of the best signings of the season. He’s certainly porved great value – we picked him up from Middlesbrough for nothing remember – and arguably deserves to be even higher on the list than number 4. Recongition of Schwarzer’s great season can be found in the nominations for the Australian Player of the Year too. He’d be a good bet to win that.
Lists seem to be all the rage this week. Brede Hangeland is at number 2 in this list of the most underrated Premier League players. If you were seriously talking about underrated, I’d chuck Simon Davies in there – but then, what do I know?
Let’s hope Fulham can keep up their good form and make it a hat trick of top ten finishes.
