I’d be willing to bet a substantially large sum of money that this won’t happen.
It must be a painfully slow news day at Fans FC. They’ve got to be pretty silly not to realise that Fulham were delighted to receive such an outrageously high sum of money for Knight’s services last season. The reason he’s failed to hold down a regular place for Villa is that he’s been consistently dodgy. And I’ve yet to read any credible story suggesting that Zat is on Roy’s radar.
Don’t get me wrong, the boy was a solid servant for Fulham and, at one stage, had real potential to develop into a dependable centre back. But to claim that he’d be an ideal replacement for Brede Hangeland is nothing short of laughable.
