Here’s Danny Murphy’s latest blog.

In it he discusses the reasons why Carlos Tevez, a gifted footballer, deserves some sympathy. He’s pretty strong on third party ownership, recognising that it’s wrong, and talks about how he was sad to leave Liverpool. He didn’t want to end his time on Merseyside by sitting on the bench and felt he needed to move on.

I read somewhere recently a comment from a football journalist that he felt Murphy was enjoying a renaissance at Fulham that put his performance levels on a par with his trophy winning displays at Liverpool. They are probably right.

On an unrelated note, I was half listening to Radio 5 Live earlier and heard Mark Bright praising the job Roy Hodgson had done at Fulham as they looked ahead to the Newcastle game. Bright said that Roy was his manager of the year.
