Diomansy Kamara has spoken of his delight at returning to goalscoring form after a serious injury disrupted his Fulham career – and says there’s no reason why the Whites can’t clinch a European place.

The former West Brom striker has had a frustrating injury-lay off after damaging knee ligaments when playing for Senegal last summer but he marked his first start of the season in style against Aston Villa on Saturday.

At the end of last year I scored some important goals and I was looking forward to having a good season for Fulham so it was a massive setback for me to suffer the injury.

But it was great to be back after watching from the sidelines and now I see no reason why Fulham can’t be playing in Europe next season.
