I’m not on Twitter so didn’t see it myself but somebody emailed me tonight saying that Jacqui Oatley’s been suggesting that our man Roy’s had two good offers to coach national teams.
You might remember that Oatley, a regular on Radio Five Live, was the first woman commentator on MOTD when she described the Fulham-Blackburn game a couple of seasons ago. I’d be disappointed if this amounted to much. Roy very quickly distanced himself from a very public bit of courting from the Finnish FA earlier in the season – and I fancy he’d rather like to finish what he started at Fulham.
Says a lot about what we’ve achieved this season, though.
