I don’t mind Roy Hodgson getting credit from the pundits, other fans being jealous of our manager and even the odd lingering look across SW6, but don’t give Roman any ideas will you?
It is, of course, unlikely to happen. I’ve seen it hinted at before by another similarly anonymous columnists, but the Chelsea fans won’t settle for anything other than a big name. I don’t Roy – with most of his work done in Scandinavia – even figures on their radar.
My money’s still on Ancelotti, especially if the Italian PM continues to blast him from afar.
