Aron Gunnarsson is set to turn down a move to Fulham and stay at Coventry City.

The Icelandic midfielder has been in fine form this season having really made his mark at the Ricoh Arena since signing from AZ Alkmaar last season. The City player of the season, still some talent at only 20, has apparently caught the eye of Roy Hodgson and the Fulham manager is reportedly keen to sign him in the summer.

Gunnarsson, however, has pledged his future to the Sky Blue, who are currently managed by former Fulham boss Chris Coleman.

It is always nice to see that other clubs are interested in you because then you know you are doing something good. I feel I have developed from game to game, week to week, after coming here from Holland with no-one knowing who I was. But I have only just turned 20 and I need to learn things.
