John Collins has refuted rumours that he’s about to become the new manager of Monaco.
The former Fulham midfielder will take charge of Charleroi for the last time on Saturday as the Belgian season ends having secured their top-flight survival in a six-month spell with the club. He has turned down the chance to extend his contract with Charleroi and recently told a French radio station that he would be keen to return to Monaco.
But Collins has told L’Equipe that his former club, where he spent two years in the 1990s, have not been in touch.
I am perhaps on a list but I haven’t had any contact with the club.
