Clint Dempsey has won Fulham’s player of the month award for April.
As the article notes, it’s probably largely to do with a really important brace at Manchester City that secured our second successive away win. Dempsey’s performances have tailed off a little bit of late but he was excellent that day.
Personally, I’d have been inclined to give the award to Mark Schwarzer – who had a good month as Fulham only conceded two goals and kept Middlesbrough out with a wonder save on his return to the Riverside Stadium.
