Very encouraging news from the Mail.
We have been going in the right direction from the time I came here in January last year. Hopefully we can agree a new contract, and then I’ll stay here for a long time.

I’m an Arsenal fan, i think he’s just what the Arsenal backline needs. But if he decides to stay, and show some loyalty to the club that made him, then good luck to the guy! In this day and age, it would be nice to see.
Good luck to you guys next year too in europe. Both your club and manager have been a credit to the league this year.
yeah he’ll be good for arsenal fc. maybe he can deal with drogba.however, there are question marks abt his pace and whether he can play a high line, which arsenal plays quite often. one thing that i cant seem to understand is why arsene
buys young and inexperienced goal keepers. the whole team is young but ffs cant u get an experienced keeper who can fill in for almunia. keepers are not that xpensive r they ?
and they dont get paid as much either. maybe an experienced keeper could have made the difference when we played chelsea.
There’s a good chance that Hangeland might struggle to adapt to the high line that Arsenal play as he’s not the quickest. Indeed, he’s probably made to look more imperious because the Fulham defensive set-up is based around his strengths.
As for experienced keepers, I don’t think Lehmann was all that youbg when Wenger bought him. And didn’t Arsenal have Mart Poom on loan for a while?
