Stoke manager Tony Pulis has two pressing injury concerns ahead of Saturday’s trip to Fulham.
Defenders Andy Wilkinson, who has a bruised back as well as internal bleeding, and Danny Higginbotham, who also has a serious back problem, are real doubts for the game at Craven Cottage. Stephen Kelly, Andrew Davies and captain Andy Griffin are all on stand by to fill in at full back should either player not make it.
Pulis told The Sentinel:
The pair of them are a big worry ahead of the Fulham game on Saturday and that could mean a couple of new faces coming into the frame.
Both Andy and Danny have been doing well this year as everyone would agree, but we’re fortunate in that we have plenty of experienced back-up to call upon
