The News of the World has linked us with another bid for Southampton youngster Adam Lallana.
The Saints rejected a £2.5m last summer and despite rumours of our interest resurfacing in January we didn’t come back with a firm offer. As the full extent of Southampton’s financial plight becomes clear, the News of the World thinks that Hodgson might test Southampton’s resolve to hang onto their highly-rated asset with an offer of around £1.5m.
