Aston Villa and Everton are preparing £3m offers for Fulham midfielder Dickson Etuhu in the summer transfer window, according to the Daily Mirror.

Both David Moyes and Martin O’Neill have been hugely impressed with Etuhu’s combative displays at the heart of Fulham’s midfield since he moved to Craven Cottage from Sunderland last August. The Nigerian international has become one of Roy Hodgson’s key players since shaking off injury concerns that dogged a slow start to his Fulham career.

Etuhu has another two years to run on his Fulham contract but the London club are ready to offer him better terms to see off interest from a number of Premier League rivals. Both West Ham and Wigan Athletic are also understood to have been monitoring the 26 year old’s progress closely.
