A belated look back at last Saturday through the eyes of a Fulham season-ticket holder, who isn’t a Fulham fan. The games against United have proved we’ve got a few of those.

The idea that United needed the points more than Fulham is interesting, especially when you’d still back United to take the title. Perhaps we should have rolled over and died again. Still, at least he can appreciate what Zamora brings to the side.

Still, for the first half Bobby Zamora played liked Zidane and left Jonny Evans with twisted blood. Zamora would have scored too had it not been for reserve keeper Paul Scholes‘ save on the line.

His view on Ronaldo and Rooney concurs with what I heard from disgrunted Mancs afterwards.

The latter’s second yellow card I think was more for the sins of the team rather than the player himself, Ronaldo being a petulant pantomime dame throughout the game – more of a thorn in the referee’s side than Fulham’s.

Apparently releasing a DVD of the United game makes us small-time. They might haveĀ  a point.
