Young Fulham goalkeeper David Stockdale has joined Leicester on a month’s loan.
Stockdale, 23, will go straight into the squad for the Foxes’ home game against Stockport on Tuesday evening. He should play regularly for the League One leaders after Blackburn recalled their previous regular, another loanee Mark Bunn.
Leicester manager Nigel Pearson said:
We are very grateful to (Fulham manager) Roy Hodgson who has allowed us to take David on loan at very short notice. Mark Bunn did very well during his time here and we are obviously disappointed to see him return to Blackburn, but I am delighted that David is on board.
