Plenty of Premier League clubs have been linked with Kyle Naughton, who has been very impressive for Sheffield United thiss season. Earlier this week, the Daily Mirror named us as well as Aston Villa, Manchester City and Tottenham as teams who are interesting in signing Naughton.

I’m a little weary of giving too much credence to the tabloid gossip, especially when you consider that we’re hardly short of options at right back right now. John Pantsil has probably exceeded everybody’s expectations this season with his form as the first choice. He’s certainly surprised Fredrik Stoor, who probably thought he was going to be the man in possession of the jersey, although if the Swede were to leave at the end of the season – as Nick thinks might be likely – then we may need a replacement. Alternatively, Academy graduate Elliot Omozusi, who has been on loan at Norwich this season, could challenge Pantsil for a first-team spot.
