Fulham midfielder Dickson Etuhu will not be fooled by Manchester United’s loss to Liverpool last week as he prepares to ruffle the Red Devils feathers on Saturday.

United were thumped at Old Trafford by Rafael Benitez’s men in the last round of Premier League action. Fulham stand in their way this week as Sir Alex Ferguson takes his men to west London for the third time in a month.

Etuhu, who has done well to fill the void left by departed fan favourite Jimmy Bullard in recent weeks, is looking forward to clashing with the reigning champions. The Nigerian international spoke exclusively to Goal.com, and he has warned his side not to underestimate United.

“I think it will be different this time. At the end of the day you can’t take anything away from Manchester United as they are the best team in the world,” Etuhu told Goal.com

“It will be a tough game for us as they [United] want to prove a point after losing to Liverpool last week.

“Just because they lost to the Reds, it doesn’t mean Liverpool are better than United, it just means that Rafael Benitez’s men were better than them on the day. I think United will win the title without a doubt.”

Fulham have already lost to United this season. They were beaten 4-0 at Craven Cottage in the FA Cup a fortnight ago. Etuhu feels there is no real way of stopping the Old Trafford juggernaut.

“Man United are a great team, I dont think there is any particular way of beating them you just have to hope they have a bad day rather than a good one they are that strong,” added the midfielder.

“They have so much they can throw at you.

“However, we want to do a lot better than we did against them last time.

“We learn from our mistakes and hopefully the result wont be so bad.

“That was the FA Cup, but this is the league and so it will be different. In any case it will be a tough game for us.”

Fulham are currently ninth in the Premier League standings as they chase the European places.
