Fulham midfielder Dickson Etuhu wants Fulham to quickly switch their focus to the midweek game against Blackburn following their FA Cup quarter-final exit.

The Cottagers were crushed 4-0 by Manchester United at home on Saturday and welcome the Premier League leaders to Craven Cottage again later this month.

Before another meeting with United, though, the Cottagers tackle Blackburn on Wednesday and travel to Bolton at the weekend.

With Fulham edging closer to securing their top-flight status, Etuhu is looking for a positive response to the cup defeat.

“We’re not going to let it get to us,” said Etuhu said “The cup has gone now.

“We did well to get to the last eight, but what’s important is that we make sure we get a win out of our next two games.

“In two weeks it will be another game, but we have two more matches before that and it is those we’re thinking about.

“Blackburn on Wednesday is most important. We have to make sure we fight for every game as if it is our last.

“Hopefully, then, we will get enough points and be able to relax for the last few matches.”
