I wrote an article for the new TOOFIF (which was on sale outside the Cottage on Saturday) on Clint Dempsey who is fast becoming my favourite player at the club.
Just in case you are interested, Clint’s done a brief Q&A session with Goal.com which focuses on the USA’s forthcoming World Cup qualifier with Mexico. That game’s got a quite a lot riding on it actually. A victory for the States should secure a passage to South Africa, while Sven Goran Eriksson could well be out of a job if Mexico lose as he’s hardly popular with the Mexican press.
