Fulham new signing Olivier Dacourt wants to make the most of his loan spell at Craven Cottage.

The experienced midfielder has left Inter, where he was condemned to the substitutes’ bench, for Fulham, on a short-term deal until the end of the season.

Dacourt previously experienced spells in the Premier League with Leeds and Everton, and the Frenchman claims that his return to England will help him enjoy himself on a football pitch again.

When asked about his plans regarding next season, Dacourt said “I don’t know, I will see. Right now I’m going to enjoy the present moment. What I want to do is have fun, distract myself.”

The midfielder has only appeared once for Inter this season, and he is not happy with the way manager Jose Mourinho treated him.

He said: “Mourinho left me no chance. I couldn’t express myself. I thought he was a clever person.”
