Our former striker Geoff Horsfield has shown all his legendary fighting qualities to beat testicular cancer and he has now signed a professional contract to prolong his player career with Lincoln City. He’s been handed the number 9 shirt as well.
The Imps manager Peter Jackson said:
He is a real catch for us. He has cost more than £7m in transfers and I hope he can come here and score goals for us.
Horsfield added:
The last few months have been traumatic for me and my family I am just pleased to get back into football and training. I am looking to get into coaching and the gaffer has asked me to take the reserves.
Great news, pleased he’s got a chance to play again, hope it works out for him. Top bloke.
