It looks like Seol Ki-Hyeon’s unhappy stint at Fulham might soon be over.

The Korean has struggled to hold down a regular place at the Cottage since his part-exchange move from Reading with Liam Rosenior going the other way last season and hasn’t exactly endeared himself to the Fulham faithful during that time. The Korean had a little spell as a second striker at the start of the season but has seen his first-team ambitions thwarted by the emergence of Andy Johnson and Bobby Zamora as Roy Hodgson’s first choice strike partnership. Spots in the Fulham midfield are also hard to come by with Clint Dempsey having cemented a regular place.

Hodgson has confirmed that the club are waiting to hear news on a possible departure for Seol in the January transfer window.

We’re still waiting for news on Seol’s move. There’s a possibility that he might go but we’re not certain of that.
