Fulham captain Danny Murphy has revealed he is just two games away from a new contract with the club.

Murphy has six months to run on his current contract but a clause in the deal based on games played will trigger an automatic one-year extension should he feature in two more games for the Whites. He added that, at 32, he would be keen to finish his career at Craven Cottage.

I am part of a club that is progressing and I want to end my career here. If I play a couple more games my contract extends to next year, but at the end of this season I want to sit down and re-negotiate its length.
