I haven’t got too much to add to what’s already been said about yesterday’s postponment.

It didn’t do much for my mood that I only discovered the game was off when I walked onto Stevenage Road and that the decision was taken as late as 1.30pm. That being said, it was freezing cold as I shivered chatting with David Lloyd (of TOOFIF) and his son, and I’ll fully respect the decision of Rob Styles – something I haven’t typed very often – to call the game off.

The only positive to come out of all that was a pint with a long lost friend in a pub on the way back to Hammersmith afterwards. Yesterday’s results seemed to go for us. Arsenal’s late winner against Bolton, who are building nicely under Gary Megson, whilst draws at Middlesbrough and West Ham helped keep all the sides involved looking over their shoulder.
