It certainly looks like Leon is on his way.
But take a look at these choice quotes as he tries to beg Roy Hodgson for a move:
The manager favours some others and that is fair enough. But then I also expect that they will not destroy my career by holding onto me.
Maybe if there was a bomb in the dressing room and four players broke their legs then it might well be that I came to play.
Not exactly subtle.
Ouch. I feel bad for him, because he was in almost the same situation at Werder Bremen before joining us. I think most agree that he’s a good player with a lot to offer, so I’d hate to lose him…I wonder if one of those German clubs would be interested in a loan until the end of the season?
It would be a pity to see andreasen leave, I feel he has more to offer than Dickson, especially going forward, which left me slightly confused as to why he did not start against wednesday.
heres to hoping we keep him.
Mark that up as a trio who think Andreasen’s situation is really sad. I’d have been one of those who would have replaced Bullard with him to give us a bit more bit in midfield when Jimmy’s form dipped. He looks got on the ball and was impressive when he came off the bench against Boro. Would like to keep him but if we can’t offer him first team football (or Roy doesn’t think he will get back in the picture) then maybe it is best – for Leon’s career – that he moves on.
