Sky Sports News is reporting the ‘breaking news’ that Jimmy Bullard has been told that he can leave Fulham in January.
Not sure who Sky’s sources are as the last reports I’d read had Jimmy keen to stay at the club and Hodgson wanting to hold onto him as well. Do I detect an agent’s hand in this? And it’s typically great timing with a big game coming up tomorrow as well.
Saw this on Sky Sports News just now as well.
I’m not sure what to make of it to be honest. I think every player in our squad is up for sale at the right price so I’m not sure this is breaking news. It is effectively what Roy has been saying in his press conferences when asked anyway.
Agreed Rob. Don’t think there’s too much new in this story. If a big club wants Bullard, they’ll have to show us the money.
Off to Newcastle apparently.
There’s been some talk about Harrods worsening financial position in light of the credit crunch. Would that make MAF contemplate selling off one of his biggest assets? I don’t know.
Here’s another thought. With his history of serious injuries, would he pass a medical?

There’s nothing a journalist would describe as attributable, no quotes, no steers from any of their sources just speculation. Hope there’s nothing in this.
If Jimmy leaves us to go to Newcastle, he’s mad in my opinion.
