Fulham have reportedly stepped up their interest in FC Lyn-Oslo goalkeeper Eddie Gustafsson.

The goalkeeper is out of contract in the summer and has also attracted interest from fellow Premier League side Middlesbrough.

The 31-year-old is said to be keen on a move to a bigger league but is keeping his options open.

He said: “I don’t know, all I know is that there is interest.”

The Swedish stopper has enjoyed a successful season and was named in the team of the season in various newspapers and with eight caps for his country he could be a bargain buy on a bosman.

Despite the interest Lyn-Oslo coach Kent Bergersen is hopeful that his goalkeeper will stay.

He said: “Nothing is set for Eddie’s future. If he won’t make a deal with any other club, he might stay at Lyn.”
