I do that every weekend! I’m always a bit angry when we’re playing – I have to try to control it

I was a midfielder until I was 16. Then the coach put me at the back and it went really well

Last great film you saw?
The Gangster was very enjoyable

First holiday you went on?
I travelled to Denmark with my family when I was a kid

Last time you had a really good laugh?
I have to laugh a bit every day, but I think it was watching an American sitcom

First weekly wage you ever had?
I worked in a shop when I was younger. I got about £10 a day

First time you got sent off?
I’ve never been sent off – not bad for a centre-back

First car you ever bought?
A Toyota Starlet when I was 18

There are a couple of young lads at Fulham who are worth looking out for

First time you thought you would make it as a footballer?
When I got my first professional contract aged 19

Last book you read?
The last English book I read was ‘Underworld’ by Don DeLillo
