Fulham striker Diomansy Kamara, who underwent surgery on his injured knee last month, is in France working in a rehabilitation programme.

Diomansy is progressing well and is expected to return to the Club in the next few weeks to continue his rehabilitation.

However, he is not expected to return to training before December 2008.

The £6m striker sustained his injury while playing for Senegal in a match against Liberia in June 2008, Kamara ruptured his cruciate ligament, an injury which required reconstructive surgery.

Kamara had endured a disappointing season at Craven Cottage, scoring just five league goals in 28 appearances and prior to his injury there were rumours that Fulham were planning to offload him
