Fulham have been handed a trip to Burnley in the third round of the League Cup.

Roy Hodgson’s men were rather fortunate to beat League One Leicester City 3-2 in the second round earlier this week and they face a tricky trip to Turf Moor, where the Whites haven’t won in their last seven visits. They were famously dumped out of the FA Cup at the fifth round stage when Jean Tigana’s men slumped to a 3-0 defeat in a replay that followed a draw at Loftus Road.

The Clarets have endured a stuttering start to the new Championship campaign – collecting just a single point from their first three fixtures.
