Bolton have made a £3m bid for Fulham midfielder Jimmy Bullard.
Bolton boss Gary Megson is said to have tabled his offer last night in a bid to beat Everton and Middlesbrough in the race to sign the 29-year-old.
The Cottagers recently rebuffed Bullard’s attempts to renew his contract saying that his existing deal had two years to run and that they did not want to discuss renewal for another year.
Fulham boss Roy Hodgson has said on a number of occasions that Bullard is a key part of his plans and does not want to lose him.
The midfielder joined Fulham in April 2006 when The Cottagers triggered a release clause in his Wigan contract which was reported to be £2.5m
