South Korea star Seol Ki-hyeon has categorically denied reports that his Fulham days are numbered.

There has been ongoing speculation that the London side will be looking to sell the 29-year-old after their pre-season tour of South Korea is over but, after having arrived in his native country with his club, Seol insisted to local reporters that he is not unsettled at Craven Cottage.

“All that speculation has no effect on me,” he said.

“Nothing has changed (since the end of the season). I have just been recuperating.

“The important thing is to play as well as I can to stay with the team,” added the ex Reading star, who has made just a dozen appearances for Fulham last season, the last one dating all the way back to January.

Seol concluded by turning his attention to the friendlies scheduled against K-League sides Busan I’Park and Ulsan Hyundai Horang-i.

“It’s the first time I’ll be playing in Korea with a club team since I left but there’s no real pressure on me,” he added.

“I just want to have a good game along with my team-mates and put on a good show for the fans.”
