Charlton boss Alan Pardew has revealed Fulham are not prepared to sell Hameur Bouazza this summer.

Pardew tested The Cottagers’ resolve by enquiring about Bouazza’s availability, but he was told Roy Hodgson does not want to trade.

“We had made contact with Fulham, but they don’t want to do business at the moment,” Pardew stated, following Charlton’s friendly win over Ebbsfleet.

Bouazza enjoyed an impressive start to his Fulham career, following his summer move from Watford.

However, his raids down the left flank were quickly stunted by injuries, leaving question marks over his future as Wigan expressed an interest.

Hodgson clearly values the Algerian though, and with Diomansy Kamara facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines, Fulham are not prepared to lose one of their attacking options.
