Wycombe have snapped up defender Nathan Ashton from Fulham.
The 21-year-old has signed a two-year deal with The Chairboys, after the two clubs agreed an undisclosed fee.
Ashton joined Fulham last summer on a free transfer from Charlton, but was unable to force his way into the side on a regular basis and made just one appearance.
Wycombe boss Peter Taylor believes Ashton will benefit from getting the chance to secure regular playing time.
”He’s an attacking minded left-footed player whose got bags of energy and he can get up and down the pitch very well,” Taylor told the club’s official website.
“He’s got a terrific left-foot and he needed to play league football. At the age of 21 he needs to be playing regularly.”
