Fulham striker Jari Litmanen has suffered from what was discribed as “palpitations” during a training session.

The Finland international joined Fulham during the January transfer window and had been working hard to regain full match fitness.

The Cottagers boss, Roy Hodgson, had been hoping to use the former Ajax and Liverpool star in the club’s relegation battle but the Finn’s debut has been put back at least a week.
