Roy Hodgson was happy with Fulham’s point in their goalless draw at Bolton.

The Cottagers maintained their shape from the off and kept things tight at the back to secure a clean sheet.

Hodgson acknowledged his side’s display dipped after half-time, although he thought it was a deserved point.

“I think in the Premier League any point away from home is a good point,” he toldĀ Sky Sports. “In my opinion a well deserved point. I’ve got to be satisfied with that.

“It’s also about how you achieve things and I can take a lot of satisfaction from the performance. I think we’re getting stronger at the back. I thought our first half display was very good. I think we were good value for our point.”

Fulham have been busy in the January transfer window and Hodgson has not ruled out further additions.

“You never say never. It’s a strange thing this transfer window,” he continued. “I’ll sit back and wait, but we’ve got enough bodies in our club. If there’s another good player to be had we’ll be delighted to welcome him.”
