Fulham have made a £3.5million bid for Watford striker Marlon King according to SkySports.

Fulham chief Roy Hodgson is keen to bolster his attacking options as he looks to steer the side clear of trouble at the wrong end of the table and has made King his top target.

Watford boss Aidy Boothroyd is determined to keep hold of his star striker and had warned Fulham off a move for the former Gillingham hitman.

However, Fulham are now believed to have tabled a firm offer for King as they look to bring the powerful forward to Craven Cottage.

Watford have vowed they would only consider selling King for big money and it remains to be seen if Fulham’s offer comes close to their valuation for the player.
