Werder Bremen defensive midfielder Leon Andreasen looks set to join Fulham, according to reports from Europe.

Negotiations over a transfer for the Danish international are at an advanced stage with Bremen wanting €4 million tough tackling midfielder. The fee shouldn’t be a problem for Fulham, with Roy Hodgson having been allocated funds by Mohamed Al Fayed as he looks to guide the Whites away from the Premier League relegation zone.

Andreasen joined Werder in 2005 from Aarhus for €1.6 million. He has 8 caps for the Danish national side.
