New Fulham manager Roy Hodgson will have to do without the services of Northern Ireland defender Aaron Hughes as he selects his first side.
The former Newcastle and Aston Villa defender will miss the local derby with Chelsea after he picked up a calf problem. German full back Moritz Volz comes back into contention after serving his suspension following his red card at Tottenham on Boxing Day but Hameur Bouazza is banned after being sent off at Birmingham.
Hodgson still has a significant injury list to contend with as he takes over at Craven Cottage. Long-term absentees Jimmy Bullard, Brian McBride and Lee Cook are ruled out with knee injuries and although Philippe Christanval has resumed training after a year out with his own knee problem this game is likely to come too soon for the former French international.
