Fulham defender Moritz Volz has undergone treatment back in Germany to help him overcome the shoulder and groin problems that have hampered him all season.
Volz last played first team football in the League Cup game against Shrewsbury back in August.
The German under-21 International defender now hopes to return to full training at the end of the month and said: “I’m itching to start playing again.”
With a busy Christmas programme approaching and with clean sheets at a premium Cottagers boss Lawrie Sanchez will be pleased to welcome Volz back.
