Former Fulham defender Zat Knight had a dream debut for Aston Villa today, the team he supported as a kid. Not only did he score on his debut, he was a vital part of the victory over Chelsea.

Chelsea hadn’t lost since January, and had 18 straight games after the loss versus Liverpool (2-0).

Zat was picked to start the game by his new manager, Martin O’Neill, and what a pay back he gave his new manager scoring from Villas first corner of the match in the 47th minute.

Well done Zat, you only managed 14 competitive goals for us in 8 years, but the fact that this one came versus Chelsea makes up for it.
