Fulham have had a transfer bid for Blackburn striker Jason Roberts rejected.
The Cottagers are reported to have made a £2.5m bid for the 29 year-old former Wigan striker.
A Rovers spokesman confirmed that there had been an offer for Roberts but that the club was not interested in selling him.
Roberts missed much of last season due to injury but when he returned to first team football he scored 5 goals in his last 6 games.
At the moment it is not clear if Fulham are preparing an increased offer for the striker
