Mido’s proposed move to Fulham has stalled after the Cottagers’ baulked at the Egyptian striker’s wage demands.

The 24 year-old had met with Fulham chairman Mohamed Al Fayed and was believed to be close to a permanent move to Craven Cottage. But Mido’s father Hossam Wasfi is quoted as telling FilGoal.com: “The negotiations haven’t gone well because the London club said they will not be able to pay Mido’s wages. However, Mido will be joining another club next season. He is content with the spell he had with Spurs but will move somewhere else”.
