Queens Park Rangers have rebuffed Fulham’s approach to land winger Lee Cook.

The talented wide man is rated as one of the top talents outside of the Premiership and is believed to be monitored by several top flight clubs.

Championship club QPR have previously stated they would not stand in the player’s way, should an adequate bid be lodged, but it would appear Fulham have fallen some way short of their valuation.

Chairman Gianni Paladini insists that there is no pressure on manager John Gregory to sell his key players.

“Lee Cook is one of our prized assets and we won’t be letting him go unless the price is right.” he said.
