Fulham are reported to have increased their offer to tempt West Bromwich Albion players Jason Koumas and Diomansy Kamara to join Premiership Fulham at Craven Cottage.

In addition to £3million The Cottagers are now apparently offering defender Moritz Volz and striker Collins John in exchange.

West Brom chairman Jeremy Peace has indicated that no-one would be allowed to leave on the cheap when rejecting a £5million bid from Birmingham for Koumas and Kamara and a £4million offer for Koumas only from Wigan.

He said: “There will be a lot of money sloshing around in the Premier League next season and, let’s face it, most of it will go into players’ pockets. And there is a danger if we don’t let people go, they will be disillusioned. But they will only go on our terms.”

Kamara’s agent Willie McKay has said: “Tony Mowbray has come out and said he doesn’t want players who do not want to be there and Diomansy has been honest with him and the chairman in saying he wants to go. I’m expecting a lot of approaches to be honest. He had a great season last term, scoring 23 goals, and he wants to step back into the Premiership.

“I’m in touch with Jeremy Peace and we all know where we’re going. As far as we’re concerned, as long as the club get a decent price, Diomansy won’t be there next season.”
